Lucca Delcompare and Kyle Snew capture high point awards at the 2008 Southwest Florida Neurosurgical Associates Summer Invitational The 2008 Southwest Florida Neurosurgical Associates Summer Invitational is now completed. The meet was one of the fastest long course meets held in Florida this year as 52 meet records fell, and 21 swims were under the US Olympic Trials standards. GCST had a great meet as the team finished 2nd overall in team standings out of 21 teams entered.
Lucca Delcompare won the 10 & Under Boys High Point Award. Kyle Snew won the 13 & 14 Boys High Point Award. Christian Steinwarz made a new Summer Sectional cut in the 200 Fly. Olivia Horton made 3 new JO cuts. Lexi Faunce made 3 new JO cuts. McKenzie Cassidy made 3 new Spring Sectional cuts. Kendall Brent made 3 new JO cuts. Courtney DeVeny made 3 new JO cuts, Hannah Albion swam a new Summer Sectional cut in the 1500 Free. Melissa Arbelaez, Michelle Wahlund, and Nicholas Deguzman, each made 1 new JO cut. Nikki McCollum swam a new 13 & 14 800 Free cut.
