Swim Free for a
Month...Check out our new Incentive Rewards Program
Think about your
team’s budget. It will tell you a lot about the priorities
the team has selected. The budget also sends a message about the
planning or lack of planning for the future. Important
considerations include how money is raised, how it is allocated and
saving for program enrichment. Do funds raised go into a big black
hole to never be spent on the teams athletes?
First of all, the budget must be consistent with your
team’s vision, mission, philosophy and goals. What is
important to your team? How are you spending your money? For
example, if your team mission statement
mentions “supporting athletes to the highest
levels”, there might be a line item showing that
the club pays at least part of the expenses for
athletes who compete at the USA Swimming Sectional or
National meets.
GCST
does only one fundraiser per year called Swim A
Thon. We host several large meets that keep our fees
very low and support our swimmers. It takes all
parents to run our events so that we can support our
athletes. Please do your part. Check out our new
Incentive Rewards Program. Any family
that reaches 75 hours or more will get
1 month free from Program
Fees at the end of the season or when you reach that level.
