GCST has outstanding Jr. Olympics...2 GCST records fall...12 GCST swimmers final
GCST posted some very impressive time drops at the Junior Olympics.
Courtney DeVeny broke the 13 & 14 and Senior Girls 200 Back record formerly held by Chelsea Franklin with a 2:08.51. Eric Ordaz, and Sydney McMurray finished top 10 in points totals in their age groups.
We had a total of 16 new cuts made at the meet.

New Cuts: Lauren McLeod made her first Sectional qualifying time as she swam an 18:19.29 in the 1650 Free. A total of 16 new and improved qualifying times were made by GCST swimmers.

Sunday Results
GCST had some outstanding swims on the last day of the meet. Eric Ordaz, and Sydney McMurray finished top 10 in points totals in their age groups. Blake Woodrow, Eric Ordaz, Courtney DeVeny swam Top 8 finishes on day 4. GCST finished the meet in 12th place in the overall team standings.
Sunday Finals - 11-12 - Eric OIrdaz finished 5th in the 200 IM, 8th in the 100 Free, and finished 9th in total points. Savannah Bowser finished 11th in the 200 IM. Kaitlyn Hauser finished 16th in the 100 Back.
13-14 - Courtney DeVeny finihsed 4th in the 200 Back, and 9th in the 200 IM. Blake Woodrow finished 5th in the 1650 Free, and 15th in the 200 IM. Matt Nielsen finished 9th in the 1650 Free. Lauren McLeod finished 13th in the 1650 Free. Zach Jamieson finished 14th in the 1650 Free.

Sydney McMurray, Savannah Bowser, Eric Ordaz, and Courtney DeVeny nail down 5th place finishes for a great night of swimming on Day 3. GCST is in 12th place in team scoring.
Saturday Finals - 11-12 - Savannah Bowser finished 5th in the 500 Free. Eric Ordaz finished 5th in the 500 Free. Kaitlyn Hauser finished 10th in the 500 Free. Lucca Delcompare finished 10th in the 100 Fly. Girls 400 Free Relay finished 8th. Boys 400 Free Relay finished 11th.

Eric Ordaz posts two championship finals swims to lead the team on day 2. Lucca Delcompare finals in three events. Sydney McMurray takes 4th in the 200 Free. GCST is in 11th place in team standings after another day of outstanding swims.
Friday Finals - 11 & 12 - Savannah Bowser finished 11th in the 200 Free. Kaitlyn Hauser finished 16th in the 200 Free. Eric Ordaz finished 4th in the 200 Free, and 5th in the 100 IM. Thursday Night Results
GCST started Junior Olympics with some great swims on Thursday night. Almost every swim was a best time, and some big drops as usual on distance night. Savannah Bowser led the way with an outstanding swim in the 11 & 12 Girls 1000 Free and a 3rd place finish with a 10:54.32.
10 & Under - Sydney McMurray finished 7th in the 500 Free. Darrien Heil finished 9th in the 500 Free.
11 & 12 - Savannah Bowser finished 3rd in the 1000 Free. Kaitlyn Hauser finished 6th in the 1000 Free. Eric Ordaz finished 6th in the 1000 Free.
13 & 14 -Blake Woodrow finished 7th in the 1000 Free.
