GCST swimmers post some outstanding swims at SYS Memorial Meet...1 GCST Record broken...5 GCST Swimmers claim High Point Awards...18 New Championship Cuts made...GCST Girls finish 2nd behind host team SYS...GCST Boys finish 3rd...GCST 3rd overall in team scoring to win the 2nd place visiting team trophy.

New Team Record: Courtney DeVeny broke the GCST 13 & 14 Girls 200 Back record held by Chelsea Franklin (2:29.28 - 4/22/05) with a 2:29.06.

GCST High Point winners at the SYS Memorial Meet are Madi Baron in 8 & Under Girls, and Courtney DeVeny in 13 & 14 Girls. 
Runner-up High Point Award winners are Savannah Bowser in 11 & 12 Girls, Eric Ordaz Jr. in 11 & 12 Boys,  and Molly DuBrasky in Senior Girls. 
Placing Top 10 in Points are: 
8 & Under Makailey Hauser 8th, Ally Bravo 10th, Zach Brewer 7th.
10 & Under Sydney McMurray 3rd, Madeline Willoughby 8th

All Best Times: Joshua Benzon, Darrien Heil, Dani Lea Jordan, Shelby Jacobson, Ro Marsala, Madeline McAdams, Jack Moreland, Matt Nielsen, Eric Ordaz Jr, Madison VanDress, and Abby Willoughby.

GCST swimmers won 15 events,  53 top 3 finishes, and 123 top 8 finishes.
GCST events winners are Madi Baron, Sydney McMurray, Savannah Bowser, Courtney DeVeny, Molly DuBrasky, Eric Ordaz Jr, and Kyle Snew.

Sunday Results

GCST racked up some fast times on Sunday and some explosive swims with several heat winners on the last day.  Madi Baron won the 8 & under Girls 50 Breast.  Savannah Bowser won the 11 & 12 Girls 200 Breast.  Eric Ordaz Jr won the 11 & 12 Boys 200 Free.  Courtney DeVeny won the 13 & 14 Girls 200 Back, and 200 Breast.  Molly DuBrasky won the Senior Girls 100 Fly.  Kyle Snew won the Senior Boys 200 Back.

Saturday Results

GCST swimmers picked up 5 wins today. Several great swims in both sessions. Molly DuBrasky won the Senior Girls 200 Fly.  Courtney DeVeny won the 13 & 14 Girls 200 IM, and the 100 Back. Madi Baron won the 8 & Under Girls 50 Back, and the 50 Free.

Friday Night Results

GCST started out with 3 event wins on Friday night at the SYS Memorial Meet.  Sydney McMurray won the 10 & Under Girls 200 Free, Eric  Ordaz Jr. won the 11-12 Boys 400 Free, and Savannah Bowser won the 11-12 Girls 400 Free. GCST finished the evening in 2nd place behind meet host SYS in the team standings.
