GCST is the team champion in the FS Open Water Championship
GCST claims 2nd consecutive OW Championship...Savannah Bowser, and Hannah Albion are event champions.
GCST claimed it's 2nd straight team title in the Florida Swimming Open Water Champiosnhips held on June 12th at Fort Myers Beach, FL. GCST's 11-12 girls swept the event as they took first through third, with Savannah Bowser, Dani Lea Jordan, and Kaitlyn Hauser taking the honors. Hannah Albion won the 15-16 girls 5k race. Madi Baron, finished 2nd, and Hannah VanDress finished 3rd, and Lauren Brown finished 5th in the 10 & under girls. Michelle Wahlund finished 6th in the 11-12 girls. Eric Ordaz Jr. finished 2nd, and Thomas Malooly finished 8th in the 11-12 boys. Lauren McLeod finished 14th in the 13-14 girls 5k. Matt Nielsen, and Blake Woodrow finished 2nd, and 3rd in the 13-14 boys. Nicholas Ortega finished 9th in the 15-16 boys 5k. McKenzie Cassidy finished 6th, and Michelle Nielsen finished 8th in the Senior Girls 5k. David Albion, and Jake Albion finished 6th, and 7th in the Senior boys 5k.
