22 New Championship Cuts at July Friday Night at the Races
GCST swimmers post some great swims at FNR meet
GCST hosted a very fast Friday Night at the Races at the Lee County / FGCU Aquatic Center on July 2, 2010. GCST swimmers made 22 new championship qualifying times during the evening, and turned in some outstanding swims by most that swam the meet. Mackenzie Arens led the way with 3 new 10 & Under Girls JO cuts, Madi Baron made 2 new cuts, Audrey Delcompare made 1 new JO q-time at 8 years old, Hannah VanDress added a new JO cut, and Jessie Walsh made 2 new JO cuts as well. Sydney McMurray made a new 11-12 JO cut in the 800 Free. In the 11-12 age group, Elijah Benzon swam a JO q-time, Eric Ordaz Jr, Darrien Heil, and Thomas Malooly, each added a new JO q-time. Dani Lea Jordan swam a new JO cut in the 13-14 girls age group, as did Lauren Mcleod. Dylan Lake swam an outstanding 400 Free to qualify for Sectionals. 12 year old Savannah Bowser swam a great 1500 Free to make her Sectional q-time. New Cuts
New Team Record: Audrey Delcompare broke her own 8 & Under Girls record in the 100 Breaststroke.
