GCST NATIONAL JR. TEAMER HARRY STEPHENSON PUTS ON CLINIC AT NFM

 

The age group swimmers at the North Fort Myers branch of GCST were happy to have Harry Stephenson visit our pool.  Harry donated his training time from GCST's  senior team to give a presentation about his experiences in swimming, including a motivational talk about what it takes to be a champion, what he has experienced when he qualified for the USA Swimming National Youth Team, and presented a slide show of his travels as a swimmer on the National Youth Team.  Harry generously presented the swimmers with a National Youth Team backpack filled with prizes he has received from USA Swimming, for the coaches to distribute as motivational rewards for the kids.  Harry then gave a short stroke clinic demonstrating all four strokes.
All the swimmers, parents and coaches agreed that it was a great learning experience for all concerned.
