ESTERO HIGH'S DUBRASKY LOOKS FORWARD TO SWIMMING WITH THE GATORS

In her four years at Estero High School Molly DuBrasky set a slew of school records while winning five state titles, the most of any swimmer — male or female — in Southwest Florida history.

The Wildcats’ big fish will be moving to a much bigger pond next year when she joins the University of Florida’s swim team. DuBrasky signed her national letter of intent with the Gators Wednesday, following in the footsteps of her brother Tayler, a 2008 Estero swimming grad who also signed with UF.

“I’m nervous. Some of the stories my brother’s told me, I know (UF) is really, really hard and the practices of course are really hard but if I can balance everything, I definitely think I can get it done,” DuBrasky said. read more...
