GCST Last Chance Meet: 11 New Cuts, and 27 Swimmers With All Best Times
The GCST Last Chance Meet started in the fog and finished in bright sunshine and much warmer temps than our Winter Open Meet two weeks ago. GCST swimmers had some great swims with several new cuts made, and Alexus Lawler making her very first FLAGS cut in the 10 & Under Girls 100 Breast while swimming her first 200 Breast.
11 new championship meet cuts made:. Madi Baron made her first Yards cut in the 10 & Under 100 Free. Zach Brewer added the 10 & Under 500 Free to his slate of events. Nicole Bravo made a new cut in the 10 Under Girls 100 Breast. Madeline McAdams is showing steady improvement with a new cut in the 10 & Under 50 Back. Hannah VanDress added the 10 & Under 50 Fly to her events. Elijah Benzon made a new cut in the 50 Back for 11-12 Boys. Michael Pineda added the 100 Breast to his Sr Champs slate, and made a new Sectional cut in the 200 Breast. Blake Woodrow made a Summer Sectional time in the 200 Breast. Molly DuBrasky qualified for Sectionals in the 50 Free.
