GCST had a great FLAGS meet with many outstanding swims and finished 9th in the Team Standings. Blake Woodrow had a great meet as he had 5 Gold medals, and 1 Silver medal to finish as runnerup in the 13-14 Boys High Point standings. Our 10 & under swimmers did a great job on Sunday as Hannah VanDress scored 3 Top 8 finishes to lead the team.
GCST finished the meet as the 5th highest ranked team in Florida Swimming by Medals won at the meet. GCST had 10 Top 3 finishes. Medal Count
Sunday night finalists included Bean Faunce 7th in the 11-12 Girls 100 Fly, and 11th in the 200 IM, Kaitlyn Hauser 8th in the 13-14 Girls 1500 Free, and 16th in the 100 Fly, Savannah Bowser 9th in the 13-14 Girls 1500 Free, Dani Lea Jordan 11th in the 13-14 Girls 1500 Free, Lauren McLeod 14th in the 13-14 Girls 1500 Free, Eric Ordaz Jr. 6th in the 13-14 Boys 1500 Free, and Darrien Heil 19th in the 11-12 Boys 100 Fly.
10 & Under
Hannah VanDress finished 5th in the 200 Free, 6th in the 100 Back, and 8th in the 100 Fly. Gabby Shepherd finished 10th in the 100 Fly. Zach Brewer finished 9th in the 100 Back, 12th in the 200 Free, and 16th in the 100 Fly. Ethan Shaw finished 16th in the 200 Free.

Saturday Finals
Blake Woodrow had two great swims tonight as he won the 13-14 Boys 200 Fly with a 2:11, and bested teamate Eric Ordaz Jr. to win the 400 Free with a 4:15. Eric Ordaz Jr. swam a great race to finish 2nd in the event with a 4:17. Savannah Bowser finished 8th in the 13-14 Girls 200 Fly. Kaitlyn Hauser won the Consol heat of the 13-14 Girls 200 Fly. Paige Madden swam her first Final at FLAGs and finished 8th in the 11-12 Girls 50 Fly. Thomas Malooly finished 6th in the Consol Final of the 11-12 Boys 50 Fly. Savannah Bowser finished 3rd in the Consol heat of the 13-14 Girls 400 Free. Dani Lea Jordan finished 7th in the Consol heat of the 13-14 Girls 400 Free. Darrien Heil finished 5th in 11-12 Boys 400 Free.

Qualifying for tonight's finals are Blake Woodrow, Eric Ordaz Jr., Savannah Bowser, Kaitlyn Hauser, Dani Lea Jordan, Paige Madden, Thomas Malooly, and Darrien Heil.
In the 200 Free Relays, GCST finished 10th in the 13-14 Girls, 12th in the 13-14 Boys, 17th in the 11-12 Girls, 13th in the 11-12 Boys, 9th in the 10 & Under Girls, and 18th in the 10 & Under Boys.

Friday Finals
Another big night for GCST swimmers as Blake Woodrow won the 13-14 Boys 400 IM, and finished 2nd in the 200 Free. Eric Ordaz Jr. finished right behind Blake to take 3rd in the 13-14 Boys 200 Free, and finished 3rd in the Consol Final of the 400 IM. Darrien Heil finished 7th in the 11-12 Boys 200 Free. Savannah Bowser finished 5th in the Consol Final of the 13-14 Girls 200 Free.

Savannah Bowser in the 13-14 Girls 200 Free, and 400 IM, Blake Woodrow in the 13-14 Boys 200 Free, and 400 IM, and Eric Ordaz Jr. in the 13-14 Boys 200 Free, and 400 IM, Darrien Heil in the 11-12 Boys 200 Free, and Thomas Malooly in the 11-12 Boys 200 Free.
11-12 Girls 200 Medley Relay finished 13th. 11-12 Boys 200 Medley Relay finished 12th. 13-14 Girls 200 Medley Relay finished 15th. 13 & 14 Boys 200 Medley Relay finished 14th.
10 & Under Finals
Hannah VanDress finished 2nd in the 400 Free, and 13th in the 100 Free. Madi Baron finished 14th in the 400 Free. Zach Brewer finished 13th, and Ethan Shaw finished 14th in the 400 Free.
10 & Under Girls 200 Medley Relay finished 7th. Boys 10 & Under 200 Medley Relay finished 16th.
Thursday Finals....Blake Woodrow won the 13-14 Boys 800 Free with an 8:45.95, and Eric Ordaz Jr. finished 3rd. Eric also finished 5th in the 13-14 Boys 200 Back. Savannah Bowser finished 7th in the 13-14 Girls 800 Free, Kaitlyn Hauser finished 10th, and Dani Lea Jordan finished 15th. Darrien Heil finished 4th in the 11-12 Boys 800 Free, won the Consol Final of the 100 Breast, and won the Consol Final of the 100 Back to finish 9th in both events. Bean Faunce finished 6th in the 11-12 Girls 800 Free, 8th in the 11-12 Girls 100 Breast, and 11th in the 11-12 Girls 100 Back. Paige Madden finished 13th in the 11-12 Girls 100 Back.
