GCST Coach Has Outstanding Triathlon at Longboat Key

GCST Masters Swimmer and Coach Jill Moreland competed in her first International distance triathlon this past Sunday on Longboat Key in Sarasota. Jill had a great swim and was the 8th women out of the water out of 74 female competitors. Her total time to complete the 1/2 mile swim, 20 mile bike ride and 5 mile run was 2:06 and she finished 6th in her age group. She is shown here with the Longboat Key Fire Chief, Paul Dezzi and Deputy Chief, Sandi Drake (her sister) who also competed.
