FLAGS: DARRIEN HEIL WINS THE 200 IM ON DAY 4
Darrien Heil wins the 200 IM, Kaitlyn Hauser, and Savannah Bowser place in the Top 8....Zach Brewer takes 7th in the 100 Back...GCST finishes 15th
Sunday: On the last day at FLAGS, Darrien Heil swam an outstanding 200 IM in the 11-12 Boys event to pick up his first win.
13-14 Girls: Kaitlyn Hauser finished 6th in the 1650 Free with a 17:39.25. Savannah Bowser finished 8th in the 200 IM with a 2:13.06. Daniella Jordan finished 14th in the 200 IM.
13-14 Boys: Ryan Sorenson finished 12th in the 100 Free.
11-12 Boys: Darrien Heil won the 11-12 Boys 200 IM with a 2:11.24.
10 & Under Girls: Mikailey Hauser takes 9th in the 50 Breast.
10 & Under Boys: Zach Brewer finished 7th in the 100 Back with a 1:13.
Saturday: Another evening of good swims as Savannah Bowser swam two more top 8 finals.
13 & 14 Girls: Savannah Bowser finished 4th in the 200Fly with a 2:10.14, and 8th in the 500 Free with a 5:06.59. Daniella Jordan finished 9th in the 500 Free. Kaitlyn Hauser finished 13th in the 500 Free, and 14th in the 200 Fly.
11-12 Boys: Darrien Heil finished 6th in the 500 Free with a 5:10.76.
10 & Under Girls: Mikayla Puckett finished 8th in the 100 Fly with a 1:14.41.
10 & Under Boys: Zach Brewer finished 8th in the 100 Fly with a 1:14.40, and 14th in the 50 Back. Joshua Benzon finished 16th in the 100 Fly.
Friday: Several good swims today with Savannah Bowser finishing in the Top 8 in 2 events. Darrien Heil broke the 11-12 Boys 100 Breaststroke record held by Nicholas Caldwell with a 1:12.08 as he won the Consol Final to finish 9th overall.
13-14 Girls: 200 Free Relay finished 7th. Savannah Bowser finished 8th with a 1:55.81 in the 200 Free, and 8th in the 400 IM with a 4:39.41. 400 Medley Relay finished 11th.
11-12 Boys: Darrien Heil finished 10th in the 200 Free, 9th in the 100 Breast, and 11th in the 100 IM.
10 & Under Girls: 200 Free Relay finished 15th. Makailey Hauser finished 16th in the 100 Breast. Mikayla Puckett finished 15th in the 50 Fly.
10 & Under Boys: Zach Brewer finished 10th in the 200 Free.
Thursday Evening: GCST started the meet off with some great swims with many best times.
13-14 Girls 1000 Free - Savannah Bowser led the way as she finished 2nd with a 10:17.88, Danilea Jordan finished 6th with a 10:29.74, and Kaitlyn Hauser finished 8th with a 10:33.53 as all 3 girls swam personal best times.
13-14 Boys 1000 Free - Ryan Sorenson finished 18th with personal best time of 10:25.88 .
11-12 Girls 1000 Free - Roe Marsala finished 10th, Hannah VanDress 12th, and Madeline McAdams finished 15th with all 3 swimming best times.
11-12 Boys 1000 Free - Darrien Heil finished 4th with a 10:37.68 and a new best time.
10 & Under Girls 500 Free - Mikayla Puckett finished 12th with a neaw best time. Jordan McCollum finished 18th with a personal best time of 6:27.89.
10 & Under Boys 500 Free - Zach Brewer finished 6th with a personal best time of 5:53.16, and Joshua Benzon finished 10th with a 6:02.58 and a new best time.
Qualifying for the Florida All-Star Team are Savannah Bowser, Daniella Jordan, Darrien Heil, and Zach Brewer.
