GCST MASTERS HAVE OUTSTANDING SWIMS IN THE OPEN WATER FESTIVAL
While many of our Masters swimmers are seasoned veterens to open water races we had several that are not, and everyone raced well. For some it was their first open water race, and some their first 5K. Everyone did a great job in the Crippen Mile and the Masters 5K race.
Our 5K results were excellent with Ginger Tompkins finishing 4th over-all, and 1st in 40-44. Heather Roka finished 1st in 25-29. Vanessa Brewer finished 5th in 40-44. Eilleen Kallin finished 3rd in 50-54. John Henry 4th in 40-44. Thomas Pear finished 8th in 45-49. Wayne Hanum finished 5th in 55-59. Bill Sawyer finished 6th in 55-59.
