MESSAGE FROM COACH BILL WOOD

  Just wanted to email you to remind you today will be my last day coaching for GCST. I wanted to thank you for giving me an opportunity to be a part of your team.  There is no other team in the area I would have wanted to coach for.  GCST is a first class swim team which I hold in the highest regard and have the utmost respect for you and all of your coaches.  Your team easily puts on the best most professionally run events in the area and it is not even close.  Your coaches are extremely knowledgeable and the proof is in the pudding with the great results your athletes achieve.  Finally I would like to mention what high esteem I hold for your athletes of all pools and levels.  You have a wonderful group of young ladies and gentleman, that represent themselves and your team with respect and professionalism.  The meets I have been at the GCST swimmers are always resting, fueling and preparing in between events where I have seen swimmers from other teams running around the deck and wasting time and energy focusing on activities that in no way prepare them for their races.  Even though I must move on I will always be grateful for the chance to be a part of your team and I wish you, your coaches and athletes the very best!  GO GCST! GO CATS!
