Tomas Rodriguez...It all paid off! I placed 3rd in the senior age group, 23rd overall. I guess I’ll start taking open water more seriously now, with its addition to the Paralympics World Series. We got the announcer to say Gulf Coast Swim Team during the awards ceremony, which was even cooler. The name of the race according to the plaque is VII Seaman Costa Cálida. RESULTS

Karter Seluk is competing in Cary, NC at the 2023 Southern Zone Age Group Championships as part of the Florida LSC Zone Team. Karter Seluk finished 5th in the 13-14 Girls 800 Meter Free with a PBT of 9:26.56. Karter swam a PBT in 13-14 Girls 200 Fly to finish 6th with a 2:26.60.

GCST had a very good 2023 Summer Senior Champs at the FAST Pool in Ocala, FL on July 20-23, 2023. Cadence Fort (Senior) led the way in Team Scoring with a 4th Place in the 800 Free, 11th in the 200 Breast, 3rd in the 400 IM, 4th in the 400 Free, 8th in the 200 Fly, and 4th in the 1500 Free.
