Kyle Snew has been selected to attend the 2009 Southern Zone Select Camp, May 21-24 at the University of Louisville. USA Swimming has selected 224 athletes based on their performances this past summer in either an IMX score or an individual event. Blake Woodrow, Molly DuBrasky, and Kyle Snew claim high point awards The GCST Winter Invitational at FGCU is now finished. SYS won the team standings with Swim Florida 2nd and GCST 3rd. The meet had 602 swimmers and was the largest event held at the aquatic center in it’s history. news-press.com staff • December 26, 2008 DuBrasky, a sophomore, is the first girl in Estero’s history to win a state championship in swimming. DuBrasky won the 500-yard freestyle at the Class 2A state meet, posting the fastest time of any area girl — 4 minutes, 45.36 seconds. Her time earned her automatic All-American status, meaning she is one of the 30 fastest high school swimmers in the nation in that event. read more....
