Heather Roka, Ginger Tompkins, and Thom Pear are picking up event wins at the Bridge the Bay Masters Meet in Sarasota. The meet is on November 12-13 at the Selby aquatic Center and is short course meters. Several new GCST Masters records were set at the meet by Heather Roka, Ginger Tompkins, and Thom Pear. Finals update: Matt swam a 4:48 to finish 8th in the Consol Finals of the 500 Free. Matt Nielsen swam a 4:47.71 in the 500 free at 1A State meet to qualify 16th. Matt will be swimming in the Consolation Final tonight. The meet starts at 5:30 pm. Hannah Albion swam a 5:16 in the 500 free to finish 18th in Prelims. US Masters Swimming has posted their Final Top 10 Rankings for 2011, and GCST's Ginger Tompkins made the list. Ginger is ranked 9th in the 200 Meter Backstroke (2:55.72), and 10th in the 100 Meter Backstroke (1:21.50) for Women 40-44. Congratulations Ginger!!!
