GCST hosted the SWF Nuerosurgical Associates Summer Invitational at FGCU on June 13-16, 2013, and came away with some outstanding swims and times drops from almost all of our athletes. Chelsea Franklin has joined the staff as a coach with GCST. Chelsea started with GCST at 8 years old and quickly became one of the most decorated swimmers in GCST history with many Florida LSC, and National Age Group Records along the way. A native of Fort Myers, Fla., Pieter Ritz was member of the Gulf Coast Swim Team for 16 years. He also swam for the Florida Zone Team in 2006. During his prep swimming years, he was a district champion in 2005, was a three-time regional finalist, and was a state finalist in 2006 and 2007.
