Courtney DeVeny won the 13 & 14 Girls 100 Back at FLAGs and made a Short Course  Jr. National qualifying time with a 57.61. Way to go Courtney!!!

USA Swimming has awarded GCST as a Bronze Medal Club for 2011. This is the 6th straight year that GCST has been recognized in the Club Excellence Program.  GCST had 4337 in Club Excellence points based 2010 performance by GCST swimmers.   .

Alexus Lawler made her first FLAG qualifying time in the 10 & Under Girls 100 Breast.  Alexus was swimming her first 200 Breaststroke as hit the FLAGS cut at the 100 split. Congtratulations Alexus!!!

Savannah Bowser and Blake Woodrow have been invited to the USA Swimming Southern Zone Select Camp to be held at Louisville, KY on May 26-29, 2011.  The camp will be held on the campus of the Unviversity of Louisville, and will have 56 of the fastest girls and boys from the Southern Zone.   They follow a long list of GCST swimmers that have attended USA Swimming elite level camps.  Congratulations to Savannah, and Blake on their hard work and dedication.  GCST parents put on an awesome Awards Banquet for our swimmers on January 30, 2011.  We had almost 200 in attendance for our largest banquet in team history.
