Based on her finishes at the US Masters Swimming LC Nationals at Omaha, NE, Ginger Tompkins placed in the National Top 10 Rankings 5th in the 1500 Free, 8th in the 200 Back, and 9th in the 100 Back. Ginger's 800 split of the 1500 Free is the 8th fastest time for 2012 in the 800 Free.

In a very close vote at the 2012 USAS Convention in Greensboro, NC, GCST was awarded the bid for the 2014 Southern Zone Senior Championship Meet. Other bidders included Cary, NC, and Davie, FL. The meet will be held on July 29-Aug. 2nd, 2014 at FGCU.

Several GCST Masters swimmers went to Naples on Sunday Sept. 2nd to swim the Park to Pier Open Water swim, and encountered large amounts of Jellyfish. GCST finishers included Heather Roka, Ginger Tompkins, and John Henry. John Henry finishing the ow swim. Article from the Naples News
