ESTERO — When Molly DuBrasky swam for Estero High, the Wildcats were essentially guaranteed to have a double winner at big meets. Even though DuBrasky has moved on to the University of Florida’s swim team, Estero doesn’t show any signs of slowing down in the double winner department. GCST's Masters Team hosted the 2011 GCST Fall Sprint Masters Meet at San Carlos Park Pool on October 15, 2011. We had several new swimmers that did very well in their first swim meet. Amazing results and hard work by Sara Heil with the GCST Masters team has paid off. Sara went from being a cigarette smoker, to living a healthy lifestyle. GCST finished the STAT Meet first place in the team standings over TBAY, and host team STAT. Darrien Heil won the 11-12 Boys High Point Award. The meet finished under hard rain and terrible conditions as most of our swimmers left early on Sunday. Michael Pineda won the Consol Final of the 500 Free with an oustanding 4:47 at the FSPA Meet in Orlando, FL. That was a 7 second time drop from Michael's previous best time in the event at 4:54. Meet Results Way to go Michael!!!
